Welcome to my Blog!

Located in Texas, I'm primarily a Dallas Newborn Photographer, Baby Photographer and Child, Teen and Senior Photographer.

Fun, funky, fresh...that's me in a nutshell. I'm a 3rd generation Dallasite from a family knee deep in the Dallas Film, Video and Photography industry! My blog's a place to check out what's new with Jennifer Lauren Photography, from select session images to specials and everything in between. You'll most likely make me grin like a baby if you want to shoot somewhere funky or urban, but I equally enjoy the simple things. For those that don't know already, I photograph everything from maternity, newborns, babies, children, teens and H.S. Seniors. Clients and sessions are all throughout the DFW area; Highland Park, University Park, Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Grapevine, Las Colinas, Southlake, Keller, Colleyville...and many more! I love creating art and and I live and breathe photography!

Care to get to know me a bit? I have an awesome 4 year old son, an amazingly supportive husband, and 2 super sweet Goldens. I LOVE gummi bears, sunsets, the Red Sox, rain (except when it ruins an outdoor session) and coffee (oh, how I love my coffee. Starbuck venti triple nonfat caramel latte to be exact!). I'm not afraid to admit I listen to both kids music as well as classic rock, and I would rather be taking pictures in a funky alley than cleaning my own house! {Dallas Newborn Twins Photographer} – Darling Duo!

Newborns are a favorite of mine to photograph, so when I get the chance to photograph newborn multiples, it just doubles the fun! AND as you see here, doubles the blog post, lol. I had to be fair to each little baby plus show a few together images! For some reason this year, it’s been little boy craziness with all my newborn sessions so the chance to have a newborn girl in the mix was a blessing (and I am mom to a boy so love every minute of the little guys but was really hoping to use one of my newest girlie hats!) These two precious little babies didn’t disappoint, they were so sweet and cuddly with each other. And the parents…absolutely amazing with the little angels and I’m over the moon happy for them!

Just a reminder for all moms in the planning stage for newborn images. BOOK EARLY…BEFORE BABY ARRIVES!!! Newborns are best photographed between 5-10 days old for the sleepy, curly style! Booking early ensures a spot on the schedule no matter when baby arrives!

{Dallas Baby Photographer} – 4 1/2 month little guy!

This adorable 4 1/2 month old baby has grown up SO much from when I last saw him at the newborn session. Apparently he is just as calm, cool and collected as he was then, what lucky parents! He came to the studio bright eyed and super sweet, holding his head up high like such a big boy! This is hands down the best part of my job, seeing these sweet little babies grow up! Can’t wait to see how he looks next time! Here he is from before!
